Qualité Tourisme label

Every day, we warmly welcome our guests in a friendly and modern setting. While maintaining our high standards of service and hospitality, we also strive to manage our hotel sustainably.

Every day, we warmly welcome our guests in a friendly and modern setting.

While maintaining our high standards of service and hospitality, we also strive to manage our hotel sustainably in order to preserve the resources and natural heritage of our island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thus contributing to preserving the environment which we leave to our children.

This approach has resulted in the award of the European Ecolabel certification entitled ‘Tourist Accommodation Services’. This is a voluntary label common to all member countries of the European Union. Created in 1992, it is the only official eco-label recognised throughout the Union, issued in France by AFNOR Certification.

OUR 5-POINT COMMITMENT

With the support of our customers and employees, we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint.
– Health and environment: mindful of the health and development of our island, we support local and organic industries (monitoring responsible purchasing, avoiding individual portions or disposable tableware, using local suppliers, organic products and glass bottles with filtered water).
– Energy: mindful of our energy requirements, we take care to save energy (monthly monitoring and analysis of energy consumption, class A light bulbs, natural ventilation, conditioning checks, automatic shut-down of all appliances when rooms are empty, etc.).
– Water: controlling our water consumption (monthly monitoring and analysis of water consumption, flow reducers, control and monitoring of plant watering, reporting of leaks, etc.)
– Hygiene: when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness in our establishment, we are demanding, favouring solutions with low environmental impact and using a minimum of chemicals (Ecolabel products, microfibres and water, ISO 9001 certified laundry, etc.).
– Waste: as protectors of our island, we limit, sort and recycle our waste (monthly monitoring of waste volumes, recycling, composting, avoiding individual portions, reducing food waste, with foam soap dispensers in bathrooms and waste sorting in rooms, etc.).

To this end, we have implemented an action plan which closely monitors our consumption of energy, water, hygiene products and waste, and looks to develop innovative projects.

We encourage you to ask at reception to find out all about low-carbon ways of getting around (walking, cycling, scooters, etc.), public transport and the most suitable means of transport for your journeys (for example, electric car hire options).

All our employees were trained by AFNOR as part of the European Ecolabel certification in February 2018 and we are now committed to complying with the 22 mandatory criteria and additional criteria in order to maintain our certification.

We are raising awareness among our employees, partners and customers. We are therefore counting on everyone to contribute to our collective effort, not only through everyday actions, but also through ideas that we will be happy to put into practice.

Qualité Tourisme France – Commitment to Unforgettable Experiences

At the heart of our tourism sector, the French government has put in place a label entitled ‘Qualité Tourisme™’, a symbol of recognition for establishments that strive to offer exceptional services, thereby establishing a lasting relationship of trust with their customers.

French tourism professionals must adhere to the fundamental values promoted by this Qualité Tourisme™ brand, including high standards of hospitality and services, professionalism, and the promotion of local sights. Proudly displaying the Qualité Tourisme™ label, they are committed to offering each visitor a personalised welcome, clear and accurate information, competent and attentive staff, impeccably clean and comfortable premises, not forgetting local tourist information tailored to their specific requests.

The Qualité Tourisme™ label provides a solid guarantee to all those who choose to stay in establishments that display it. In order to obtain it, service providers must successfully respect a quality charter in line with the National Quality Commitments, which represent the essential criteria for satisfying customers fully. Qualité Tourisme™-certified professionals remain attentive to travellers’ needs through the systematic analysis of satisfaction surveys and complaints, enabling them to adjust their services accordingly. In addition, their services are regularly subject to unannounced and independent audits, which encourages continuous improvement in service quality in order to better satisfy tourists.

By choosing establishments bearing the Qualité Tourisme™ label, travellers are assured of unforgettable experiences, carefully crafted by committed professionals who spare no effort to exceed their visitors’ expectations. Excellence is our commitment, and our ambition is to make your stay in France an unforgettable one, rich in memorable experiences.

Qualité Tourisme Réunion

Réunion’s Qualité Tourisme charter is a label ensuring that each stay meets visitors’ expectations. Service providers must undertake to comply with a series of criteria selected according to the type of services they offer. Regular assessments ensure that the commitments made to adhere to this quality charter are respected.
